Cbanker says no plans to zero key rate in foreseeable future
MOSCOW, Jun 23 (PRIME) -- Russia’s central bank does not plan to zero the key rate in the foreseeable future, Deputy Chairman Alexei Zabotkin said on Tuesday.
“We do not have a zero rate yet. And it seems to me that we will not come to a zero rate in the foreseeable future,” he said.
Earlier in June, the central bank cut the rate by 1 percentage point to 4.5% annually.
